In 2018, the city of Blagnac acquired the iconographic Roger Astruc collection. More than 1,460 pieces: paintings, photographs, advertisements, caricatures, drawings with an aeronautical theme attest to his professional career. In addition to its artistic interest, this fund - in the same way as Jean Dieuzaide's photographic collection Sud-Aviation - constitutes a true testimony to the history of the French aeronautical industry.

This rich iconographic collection documents this beautiful history and is fully in line with the desire of the Aeroscopia Museum to transmit and enhance aeronautical memory. Driven by the desire to share its collections with as many people as possible, the museum has decided to pay tribute to this multifaceted artist, by creating a virtual exhibition. It is with pleasure that we invite you to a new, artistic reading of this industrial epic closely linked to Toulouse history.
